At Blue Finch Dental, we get it. We are a family-run clinic and have two kids of our own. Our dentists are experienced in paediatric work and enjoy the fun that children bring to the clinic. From toys and games in the waiting area to modern, pain-free treatments and fun, relaxed staff, we are all set up to leave your children with beaming smiles! Further-more, as part of our commitment to children’s education we are partnered with Fulham Boys School and will be introducing learning sessions at the practice (a bit more than just “taking the chair for a spin”) which we hope, in future, to expand to other children.
Just as for adults, oral health for kids begins with regular checkups. This allows their dentist to spot any problems early and treat them before they become serious, and helps your child to build trust that a trip to the dentist can be fun and is nothing to worry about. Even with the best care, kids’ teeth can still need some extra help. We offer a range of dental hygiene treatments especially for children. Cleaning treatments include ultra-gentle Airflow polishing, with no need for scraping. Your dentist might also recommend other hygienist treatments such as fluoride application – to give the teeth an extra helping hand in staying clean – and sealants, used to fill up holes or grooves in the teeth where bacteria could live. Whatever treatments your child needs, we’ll ensure their teeth stay sparkly clean.
Kids will be kids, and we’re at the greatest risk of chipped or knocked-out teeth when we’re young and super-active.
Whatever the emergency, we’re here with compassionate and timely emergency care. From painkillers and sealants to get them quickly out of pain, through to a broad range of dental restorations developed specifically for children, we’ll soon get the smile back on their face. Children’s teeth and mouths are constantly changing, from their first teeth coming through right through to adulthood. Ensuring children’s teeth grow correctly is crucial for their oral health and overall wellbeing.

With visual examinations, X-rays and a range of other diagnostic tools, we can identify any potential issues with alignment, bite or other factors early on.
