We all love to have a bright, white smile. Cleaner teeth also benefit your overall oral hygiene, and can inspire you to better habits in other areas. We offer three different types of whitening treatments. For more information, see our teeth whitening page.
Hygienist Treatments
For cleaner, whiter teeth, you can also visit our dental hygienist. We have a range of hygiene treatments available to brighten your teeth without the need for further whitening treatment. Our services include Airflow polishing, traditional scale and polish. This is especially important for removing surface stains such as tea, coffee and tobacco., and treatments such as sealants to help keep your teeth clean and healthy. It is useful to have your teeth cleaned with the hygienist prior to commencing any of whitening treatments below as they will work better on cleaner teeth.
In-chair whitening
If you need a gleaming smile straight away, in-clinic whitening is the perfect option. Using a safe high-concentration whitening gel, combined with special activating lights and administered by a professional, incredible results can be achieved in a very small amount of time. We often advise your to follow this up with a few weeks of home whitening, free of charge, to stabilize the new colour of your teeth.
At-home whitening
For convenience, flexibility and value for money, at-home whitening is ideal. Custom-produced trays that fit your teeth perfectly are produced for you, which you then wear at night in conjunction with a whitening compound. Results are longer-lasting, and once you have the whitening trays you can buy replacement whitening compound solutions easily and inexpensively, so you can top-up the treatment any time you like in the future.
If you’d like a more symmetrical smile, or have gaps, crowding or uneven teeth, straightening treatments can help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. As with whitening, a range of treatments are available and we will help you choose the right choice for you.
Invisalign®
Invisalign® clear retainers are the most popular teeth straightening treatment available. Invisible retainers are created that fit your teeth perfectly and gradually bring your teeth into better alignment. They are unnoticeable to nearly everyone, allowing you to straighten your teeth discreetly and confidently.
Traditional (labial) orthodontics
For complex issues or where a lot of movement is required, cosmetic fixed braces may remain the most effective option. Labial orthodontics are fixed to the front/outside surface of your teeth and gradually bring your teeth into alignment. Modern orthodontic treatments are designed to be more comfortable and efficient than ever before.
Lingual orthodontics
Lingual orthodontics fix to the back/tongue-side of your teeth rather than to the front. This means you will get achieve all the benefits of using fixed orthodontic devices without having to worry about retainers, but no-one (except you, your dentist and hygienist 😉 can tell will know you are using an orthodontic device. Perfect for maintaining your smile and confidence whilst straightening your teeth.
For more information see our Invisalign® and teeth straightening pages.
If you need something more extensive to restore your smile and correct misaligned or broken teeth, we have the perfect treatment for your particular case.
Veneers
Dental veneers are thin shells that are bonded to the front of your teeth to improve appearance. This could be to cover minor cracks or chips, or to disguise minor misalignments or gaps. And change the colour of your teeth. For more information see our veneers page.
Minor changes
For missing, broken or damaged teeth, a range of minor options are available, including inlays and overlays, crowns and bridges. We have a wide range of treatments suitable for everyone, and your dentist will help you find the right treatment for you.
Dental implants
For more extensive missing or damaged teeth, dental implants are the most durable and permanent solution to repair your smile. Artificial tooth roots are implanted into the gum, with crowns then permanently fixed to the top. Dental implants are highly functional, preserve and maintain the jawbone, and look and feel like natural teeth.
